One of the most wearable OG Jordan 1's out there! Why?, because there's no exterior collar leather to disintegrate, no interior collar foam to get crunchy, and there is no metallic leather to flake off. The rubber on the bottom is still squeaky new and stars are mostly there (see pics). Shoes come with the original NIKE AIR insoles w/ Terry cloth top lining on a super resilient PU foam that feels like it was made yesterday somehow. The leather; as good as it gets. 

These were acquired from an athletic shoe store owner out of Chicago. When the initial launch of the Air Jordan Hi sold more than expected, a Nike rep approached the store owner with this idea of a low cut. These were given to him as a wear-test pair for feedback. The shoe passed with flying colors, and the low ended up getting released with the wings logo on the back heel. This specific pair was only worn casually for about a month. This pair was most likely made in a sample room at the original '85 factory, or in the nike innovation space. The top collar was chopped and sewn with an "Off-White" like exposed foam edge. The tongue and eye-stay are original cut designs that were done unique to this pair. Quite possibly one of the only pairs out there. I've never seen another like it. 

I purchased this pair about 15 years ago and have been in my collection ever since.
